Bio / Research:
Dr. Vogel's research program has focused on the economic and policy dimensions of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. He is also presently doing research on domestic and international pharmaceutical policy, with special emphasis upon pharmaceutical inputs into the health production function, parallel trade in pharmaceuticals, and the analytic aspects of future Medicare coverage of outpatient pharmaceuticals. In addition, he teaches Health Care Systems and Public Policy (PHSC 511), and Pharmaceutical Policy (PHSC 544).
