Bio / Research:
Michael D. Katz, PharmD, has been with the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science since 1979. He received a bachelor of science in pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1976 and his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky in 1979. Dr. Katz serves as clinical pharmacist at University Medical Center. His major interests include internal medicine, infectious diseases and nutrition. Dr. Katz is faculty advisor for the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
