Food leftovers from the last speaker's meeting were donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Jessie Mance was selected for the NCPA recognition plaque. Prescription Lab Compounding will be our speaker for February 6, 2003 meeting. Elections will be held at this meeting and announced at the following meeting March 6, 2003. United Drug will be speaking at the March 6, 2003 meeting. Possible candidates mentioned some interest in running for election: Kathleen Collier for president, Jessie Mance for Open Airways Program, Jackie Cavanagh for secretary. Everyone should try and recruit students from the class of 2006. Getting a Katy's Kids candidate may be difficult as our first Katy's kids classes start on the same day as elections. Katy's Kids has 2 dates set February 6th at 1pm for Dietz Elementary and February 13th at 12pm Dietz Elementary. Sunrise Drive Elementary has expressed interest, but hasn't called back to set a definite day and time.

Ostomy training with Sandy Rogers will begin February 17th from 11am -12pm Room 107 and February 19th from 9:30am - 10:30 am. The ostomy Fair is scheduled for February 23, from 11am-3pm at TMC. AzSHP has asked all the officers to please sign up for a booth at the "Patient Experience" February 18th as they need help. Darcy Tincombe is trying to get soda tops for the Ronald McDonald House and has suggested collecting at all of the meetings by passing a tin. Discussion of attaching a container to the recycling containers is an option, but must be approved. Treasury now has $1,115 and everything is paid up. End of the year party should be budgeted for, tentatively for April 27th about 11am a Sunday Brunch as most people will be studying in the afternoon.
