I spent the month of June in Barcelona, Spain.   Because I wanted to experience the life of a pharmacy student I chose a university setting for my internship.   At the University of Barcelona, I worked with Bojanna, a pharmacy graduate from Macedonia, and Dr. Amat, who headed the physical chemistry department.   I lived in a flat with two Hungarian pharmacy students and a pharmacy student from Egypt.   They all worked in a community pharmacy setting.   There are students from all over the world studying in Barcelona and for many different reasons.   I would have to say that my new friends were the hardest things to leave behind.   I encourage you to apply for an international internship through IPSF.   The time abroad will undoubtedly be the most enjoyable learning experience of your life.   There are many opportunities and many countries waiting to be explored.
Ciao,
