Current Officers 2005-2006 Officer: Bee-Chin Quah, e-mail at quah@Pharmacy.Arizona.EDU - Leads IPSF meetings and activities, as well as continuing communication between IPSF and APhA-ASP. 2005-2006 Officer: Leanna Pugliese, e-mail at pugliese@Pharmacy.Arizona.EDU - Helps coordinate activities and advises the IPSF Committee Chairperson. 2005-2006 Officer: Bee-Chin Quah, e-mail at quah@Pharmacy.Arizona.EDU - Raises awareness and funds for IPSF. 2005-2006 Officer: Adriana Robles, e-mail at robles@pharmacy.arizona.edu - Establishes connections with other countries. Raises funds and books to send to those in need. Connections are usually made through the ISPF newsgroup at asp_ipsf, and the books are send in any way possible. Currently the books are sent with exchange students, students attending the international meetings, or through mail. The chairperson also leads the fundraising effort to send the books internationally. 2005-2006 Officer: Sarah Adriance, e-mail at adriance@pharmacy.arizona.edu 2005-2006 Officer: Kendra Olderog, e-mail at olderog@pharmacy.arizona.edu - Helps U of A students with the foreign exchange. This includes establishing connections with the site our students are interested in, providing and aiding with the IPSF student exchange forms, and answering any questions. This chairperson also is responsible for setting up host sites for foreign students to live here. This is done by finding housing, work, and transportation for the foreign student. 2005-2006 Officer: Daniel Boardman, e-mail at boardman@pharmacy.arizona.edu 2005-2006 Officer: Regina Miller, e-mail at miller@pharmacy.arizona.edu - Organizes the spread knowledge about the hazards of smoking. Currently the chairpersons set up education for smoking cessation programs through the Pima County Health Department; with the Pima County Health Department educate students about the smoking cessation program; set up times and dates for smoking cessation programs at 4th through 6th grade school levels; provide the supplies and directions for trained students to go to the schools.
