About Us

The Women's Health Expo is aimed at reaching out to women of all ages and backgrounds in the community to promote the topic of women's health. Our mission is to use education to empower and motivate women to take charge of their own healthcare by being aware and taking an active, preventive role in their pursuit of optimal health.

The 2008 Women's Health Expo had the following screening statistics:



• Osteoporosis: 86 screened, 4 referrals


• Pulmonary Function and CPR Demo: 73 screened


• Hodges’s Vision Center: 51 screened


• Brown Bag (Medication Review): 15 people assisted


• Depression: 16 screened, 5 referrals


• Asthma: 45 screened, 3 referrals


• Diabetes: 83 screened, 8 referrals


• Hypertension: 59 screened, 4 referrals
