Over the spring and summer months, the college touched base with several alumni who are doing great work to advance the profession and make people's lives better. We published several of their stories on the COP website, and hope you will take time now to follow the links and read all about what these leaders are doing.

All sorts of greetings were shared by PharmCats through three different phone campaigns conducted these past weeks.

The College of Pharmacy is working hard to build its scholarship funds. It's one way to assist students from having to take out large loans to finance their educations. (PharmD tuition here this year for an Arizona resident is nearly $24,000.) This fall, you may get a phone call from a UA student or receive a letter in the mail asking you to give to the college. We hope you will help us build our scholarship funds. Donations of any amount make a positive difference! You don't have to wait for that phone call, though: you can donate securely and quickly online too.

This Staying In Touch newsletter publishes four to six times a year. Some of you like to hear about what's going on at the college more frequently and in more detail. If you wish to be added to the distribution list for the College of Pharmacy Bulletin, another e-newsletter which publishes every two to three weeks during fall and spring semesters and includes more stories about faculty and students, simply let its editor know. She'll need your name and email.

Sadly, we've added two more names to our list of those no longer with us.
