FYI: Learn to protect your bike, yourself
To promote their Bicycle Safety and Education Campaign, the University of Arizona Police Department will set up a bicycle clinic Sept. 29 south of the stairway at the Arizona Health Sciences Library. At the clinic, which will go from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., students will be able to register their bikes, purchase U-locks for $15 and pick up some information about bike safety. UAPD and Parking and Transportation personnel will discuss bicycle traffic laws and how to report a theft or a bike crime. For more information, contact the UAPD Crime Prevention Unit at (520) 621-4219.
