Pharmacy Student and Faculty Recognized in Phoenix

STUDENT HEALTH OUTREACH FOR WELLNESS (SHOW) held their annual banquet and two of our students were nominated, Saba Maghari and Alexis Spence (pictured left), for an Outstanding Health Professional Student. Alexis was named the winning recipient. The SHOW students also awarded Dr. Caitlin Cameron (pictured right) with an award – “Breakout New Discipline Preceptor.”

Alexis’ nominee lauded her as an exceptional health care professional student.

“Alexis is incredible. Within this past semester, getting to work with her, I have seen that Alexis is passionate, dedicated and thorough. Although she is a health professional student and has a busy workload as a pharmacy student, Alexis is always present at Clinical Task Force and Clinical Operations meetings, among other SHOW-related meetings. Her attention to detail and insightful feedback make her stand out. Congratulations to Alexis, an outstanding health professional student!”
