Nation's first Opioid Hotline Taking off at UA

The state's first Arizona Opioid hotline, housed in the Arizona Poison and Drug Info Center, answers calls from providers and the general public.
"It's one more tool to really help the fight against opioid abuse."

The University of Arizona has started a helpline where people struggling with opioid addiction can call in for guidance from pharmacists, nurses and physicians. So far they have received about 700 calls.
