This section describes the qualifications you need to have before you can be considered for acceptance into a UA College of Pharmacy graduate program. It also outlines the process that the college follows after receiving your application.

The Selection Process
Once you have selected a graduate program within the College of Pharmacy and submitted your Graduate Admissions Application, the faculty admissions committee will receive your documents. Program faculty begin their individual review of applications mid-December. The committee decides how well you meet the admission requirements and if there is a good fit between your educational interests and what the program has to offer in terms of coursework and faculty expertise.
If the faculty admissions committee has determined that you meet admission requirements, you will be invited to attend the College of Pharmacy three-day graduate student recruitment event. The top ranked applicants who are residing in the U.S. will be invited to Tucson for an interview with faculty and to participate in other activities. Whenever possible, students may be interviewed via telephone.
After the recruitment event, you will receive a letter from the office of graduate affairs informing you of the committee’s decision. If you have been selected for admission, you will also receive an offer letter from the UA Graduate College. That letter will provide instructions for how to accept the offer of admission.
