UA & Prepharmacy

Message for Students attending the University of Arizona who are interested in preparing for pharmacy school:

Although the University of Arizona no longer offers “Prepharmacy” as a major, advisers at the College of Pharmacy are STILL here to help you prepare and be successful for admission to the College of Pharmacy. Students declare any major they are interested in pursuing AND take the courses required for admission to the College of Pharmacy. We’re here to tell you how to do that.

Don’t let the change in declaring a major throw you for a loop. We are still advising students who want to apply to the College of Pharmacy. We also still have Prepharmacy Club (it’s the largest club at UA) that meets the first Monday of each month during the school year in Drachman Hall B111 at 5 p.m.

The college STILL participates in UA Freshman Orientation by offering two Conference Sessions in the UA Student Union. Dates and locations for fall 2018 will be announced. We will discuss important information you need to know about selecting your classes, math placement, the importance of advising at the College of Pharmacy, and attending Prepharmacy Club.

Later in the day we will be at the Change of Schedule location in the Integrated Learning Center/Computer Commons Room starting at 3 p.m. We want to be available to help you with your schedule for fall semester. PLEASE come see us to assure you are taking the correct courses.
