MMC holds 'national' costume contest

This Halloween the Medication Management Center and its business entities across the country teamed up for a friendly long-distance costume contest. Employees from each location picked a theme and pulled out their creativity!

SinfoníaRx employees based their costumes on the sci-fi movie series “Tron” that depicts an ongoing battle between the users and programmers where the users get stuck in the actual video game.

The MMC in Tucson created an “Anything TV” theme for their branch. Employees dressed as their favorite characters. Costumes included Thing 1, 2 and 3 from Dr. Suess, “The Price is Right” contestant, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Oscar the Grouch and Scooby Doo. Some employees even recreated Chick-Fil-A and Captain Morgan commercials.

In Phoenix, the MMC employees put a spin on their medical knowledge and recreated the Medication Adverse Effects. Employees dressed up as various conditions: hirsutism, gynecomastia, gangrene from diabetes, swelling and vomiting. Also in the line-up: the Medicare Part D doughnut hole.

The MMC team at Ohio State University collaborated to be the amusing characters from “Despicable Me.” When all the votes came in, the OSU was voted worthy of the contest trophy.
