The HOPE Center is pleased to welcome Jenny (Wei-Hsuan) Lo-Ciganic, who joined the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science as an assistant professor. She is a pharmacoepidemiologist and biostatistician with interests in adherence to essential chronic medications, drug safety, cancer prevention, quality and value of prescribing, and diffusion of new drugs for chronic disease management. Jenny has collaborated on a variety of studies focused on application of novel statistical methods for improving medication adherence measures. In addition, she has conducted large database studies assessing patterns of care. We are very pleased to have Jenny participate in training programs offered through the HOPE Center. As faculty at the College of Pharmacy, she will pursue her research, teach biostatistics-related courses and work to establish pharmacoepidemiology courses.
