Plasmid storage guidelines

• Prepare the plasmid by any reasonably acceptable method.
• Plasmids to be stored should be in 10 mM TRIS, pH 8.5.
• Concentration should be between 0.2 and 1 microgram per microliter, or clearly label the tube and note on the form otherwise.
• Submit at least 5 microliters to Susan along with a plasmid information form.
