The center has conducted specialized training programs for managed care organizations, pharmaceutical company personnel, and their clients from hospital, outpatient and managed care settings.
Advanced Course in Pharmacoeconomic Modeling
The Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research is offering a two and one half day advanced course in pharmacoeconomic modeling. The program will consist of lecture-based learning combined with hands-on workshops. The program will focus on the use of widely accepted software programs such as Microsoft Excel. Topics of discussion include: decision analysis, Markov modeling, probabilistic models, cost-effectiveness graphs, mixed treatment comparisons, Bayesian methods, expected value of perfect information.
