Training Program in Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research
The center offers a four-day applied training program for professionals whose job responsibilities include the application or interpretation of pharmacoeconomic information. Customized Training Programs
The center offers customized training programs designed specifically to meet the needs of your organization. Programs may vary in length from half-day to a week, and may be held in Tucson or at another location. Click here to view a brochure about customized training programs.


The center has conducted specialized training programs for managed care organizations, pharmaceutical company personnel, and their clients from hospital, outpatient and managed care settings.

 

Advanced Course in Pharmacoeconomic Modeling
The Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research is offering a two and one half day advanced course in pharmacoeconomic modeling. The program will consist of lecture-based learning combined with hands-on workshops. The program will focus on the use of widely accepted software programs such as Microsoft Excel. Topics of discussion include: decision analysis, Markov modeling, probabilistic models, cost-effectiveness graphs, mixed treatment comparisons, Bayesian methods, expected value of perfect information.  Click here to view 2008 conference brochure
