Robison Elementary School Health Fair - PediaCATS

PediaCATS hosts a children's health fair at a local elementary school, Robison Elementary, to increase student's awareness of making healthy choices in their life. The fair is paired with a parent/student exhibition night at the school and will include the students and their families.

PediaCATS will host booths on sun safety; the importance of healthy eating, physical activity, getting adequate sleep and how this affects your body; germs and the immune system; and what a pharmacist does. The Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center will provide information on safety issues that occur from the environment or home. AzPA will host an AwareRX booth to educate students about the risks of prescription drug abuse. Also planned are free, adult health care screening booths for asthma, diabetes and hypertension.

This fair is to increase awareness of making healthy choices for the entire family.
