College As the first of two parts of the 2012 Jack and Joan Cole Distinguished Lectureship, Myron (Mike) Jacobson will present "Reflections on a Career in Cancer Research: From Confusion to Clinic." This presentation replaces the weekly seminar for graduate students. At the conclusion of the meeting, Jacobson and his wife and research partner, Elaine, will receive the Jack and Joan Cole Distinguished Lectureship Award.
Refreshments will be served in Drachman A127 before the seminar.
The Jacobsons retired recently from faculty positions at the UA College of Pharmacy. Jacobson was named founding dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in January.
