Sarah Wilkinson joined the College of Pharmacy in February 2011, as the research translation coordinator for the Superfund Research Program (SRP). She is responsible for communicating the research activities of the SRP with pertinent audiences, including government agencies, other research institutions and the community. Sarah graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001 with a bachelor’s in biology, and moved to Tucson in 2003 to begin her graduate studies. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2008 with a PhD in cancer biology, and a minor in pharmacology and toxicology. Her graduate work and subsequent post-doctoral studies focused on lymphoma research. In her current position, she enjoys building upon her biomedical research background to learn more about environmental health and science communication.
