Katie Franks is the Program Coordinator for the Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research (HOPE Center). She oversees the Postdoctoral Fellowship program as well as provides administrative support for their pre-doctoral candidates.
Franks joined the UA community in July 2014 and has since passionately pursued leadership opportunities across campus. She has been a member of the Executive Board for the University’s Classified Staff Council since 2015, and the only liaison represented from all of Health Sciences. In this role, she has increased the number of bike racks around the health sciences campus as well as helped the College of Pharmacy raise over 16% of the total cash collected across the entire University for the 2016 UA4Food Campaign.
Franks also co-founded the UA COM-Tucson Partner & Family Group for families of medical students.
