Eva has 25 years of experience in higher education with various roles in financial aid advising and supervising. Her passion for higher education began as a federal work-study student employee working at the University of Arizona in the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid. Once hired as full-time staff in 1997, she served in various capacities including Financial Aid Specialist, Administrative Assistant in the Office of Study Abroad & Student Exchange and Financial Aid Counselor, Sr. from 2001-2009.

She worked for Pima Community College (PCC) from 2009-2017 as a Student Services Coordinator at PCC’s District Financial Aid Office and gained extensive experience working with loan reconciliation and the Federal Direct Loan program until 2013. She supervised the Financial Aid department at PCC’s East, Desert Vista, and Community campus while also overseeing the Alternative Loan program through mid-2017 while at PCC Northwest Campus through December 2017.

In December 2017, she returned to the UA as the Coordinator of Academic Services.
