    Kappa Psi Gamma Upsilon chapter is hosting a book drive to donate children’s books to the Boys and Girls Club.  We are asking your help to donate gently used or new children’s books between Oct.12 and Nov. 5. The age range for the books is 6 – 13 years, but we will accept any age range of books.  Donate using the collection box  in the Student Services office. We are passionate about providing children in need with these books. Every child deserves the opportunity to have a book to read. With your help, we are excited to collect as many books as possible to help children in need!

    Are you interested in attending international conferences? How about traveling abroad, or even taking on an international rotation? If so, this meeting is for you! For the first part of our meeting, IPSF will go over the essentials of international travel such as:

    • costs and available grants
    • benefits of your experience
    • airfare, transportation, and logistics
    • important dates and deadlines

    For the second part of the meeting, our faculty advisor and guest speaker, Dr. Michael Katz, will discuss the process of setting up international APPE rotations for your final year in pharmacy school. The topics will include:

    • existing sites of APPE rotations (Japan, Spain, Greece, New Zealand, Zambia, and many more!)
    • benefits of your experience
    • scheduling and financing and international rotation
    • language requirement
    • health and safety

    Did we mention lunch will be provided as well? IPSF will be handing out Costco's chicken bakes on a first-come, first-served basis to keep you happy and full. Just be sure to bring your own drink!
