News from June, July & August
Many COP alumni have taken jobs at the college's Medication Management Center. Here's news from the MMC crew.
Monica Clark Adams (PharmD 2012) became a medication management specialist in May. She also was married this year to Luke Adams. They've been a couple since high school graduation. Double congratulations!
Mark Boesen (PharmD 1995) of Phoenix also signed up recently as a medication management specialist with the center.
Specialists Jason Reddick (PharmD 1998) and Rose Martin (PharmD 2007) have baby news to share. Reddick and his wife, Stephanie, became proud first-time parents June 15 to a son, Austin. Martin and her husband, Patrick, welcomed Miele Karen Martin to their family, which includes big brother Cole Bradyn, on May 15.
Katie Schiraldi (PharmD 2011) is now Katie Smith and works as a pharmacist at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson. What's that got to do with MMC? Turns out her non-pharmacist husband, Matt, is applications manager in the center.
Walter Klimecki (PhD 1994) was promoted to associate professor in the college's Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology effective July 1. Learn more about Klimecki's work on his directory page.
Brian Erstad (PharmD 1994) has been interim head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science for several months since former head Marie Chisholm-Burns left to become dean of the pharmacy school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Erstad's interests are described on his directory page.
John "Bill" Hansen Jr. (BS Pharm 1972) writes that he is working two days a week as a pharmacist at the Douglas, Ariz., Walmart and "keeping busy with grandkids." Hansen also plans to come to COP's Homecoming. (Have you registered yet?)
