Memorial Tribute for Dr. Albert Picchioni

Alumni, colleagues and friends of Albert Picchioni, PhD, participated in a special Memorial Tribute Nov. 9, 2012, celebrating the life of this extraordinary educator, college leader and founder of the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center, who died in April 2012.  The Picchioni family and College of Pharmacy were co-hosts of the Memorial Tribute.

Speakers at the memorial tribute were J. Lyle Bootman, Jack Cole, Lincoln Chin, Theodore Tong and Jude McNally, current or former College of Pharmacy employees.

Memorial Contributions
The Picchioni children have established the Albert L. and Theresa M. Picchioni Pharmacology and Toxicology Research and Teaching Endowment to honor their parents. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution to Dr. Picchioni may do so by donating to this fund.
