The department is responsible for providing instruction in pharmacology, toxicology and medicinal chemistry to PharmD students and for providing graduate education to students in a variety of research tracks.
Mission of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology
- To provide the highest quality of interaction to the professional and graduate students of the college in the areas of pharmacology, toxicology and medicinal chemistry
- To provide students with the most up-to-date information in these rapidly changing fields
- To maintain a dynamic research environment so that faculty and students continue to develop their careers through appropriate scholarly activities that will have a positive affect on the health of the residents of Arizona and the nation
